I have devised a way to give instant access to any mode using my primary scale that is moved up or down the fretboard of the guitar by counting frets. Your piano is a unique and expertly crafted mechanism that, with proper attention and regular tunings, will provide you and your family with a lifetime of enjoyment.

With graduate degrees of Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Ph.D. in Music from New York University, I have recently relocated my business to sunny Southwest Florida and would be pleased to serve your piano tuning and minor repair needs.

As a teacher, technician and performer for many years, I have a special appreciation for the piano, both as an artistic instrument of expression, and as the technical and mechanical marvel it is. And while every instrument, from concert grand to living room spinet, contains its own unique characteristics, each needs to be tuned at least twice a year to prolong is useful life—even if it hasn’t been played regularly.

Here are some things to consider when determining when it is time to tune your piano:
-Does it sound “out of tune” – like a ‘honky-tonk’ piano;
-It is frequently used, especially for performance, recording or teaching;
-Has it been moved;
-Has it been subject to recent temperature changes or changes in humidity – SW Florida’s “dry” and “rainy’ seasons, for example.

Please allow me to care for your piano. My fine-tuning process is designed specifically for your unique instrument and usually takes about two hours. The basic tuning fee is $95; pitch raising (for pianos that are extremely out of tune or have dropped their relative tuning from concert pitch [A=440 Hz.]) or additional visits are extra.
